KOMPasep DE-Line
Application
The ultrafiltration plants of the KOMPasep-DE-Line
are used for the recycling and the disposal of
various effluents and substances.
The used polymer- membranes are working at a
low solid content with temperatures to max 40°C.
- Abrasive and saw waste water of the
semiconductor manufacturing
- Removing of metal particles
- Removing of colloidal substances
Process Characteristics
The Dead-End-Ultrafiltration is a physical
separation process. The process deposits
contained solid substances from the medium. The
medium to be separate flows into the membrane
with a specific pressure (Dead-End-process).
In specific intervals, the filtrated substances are
rinsed out and the separation process will start
again.
The pore size of the membrane is dimensioned
that small molecules like water and solved
materials pass (permeate) and corresponding
solids keep back (concentrate).

Measures without tanks..
Description of plant
The KOMPasep-DE-Line plants consists of:
- Storage tank
- Pre- filtration
- Dead-End-ultrafiltation plant
- Rinsing tank
- Disinfecting unit
The operation of these plants is subdivided into the following main steps:
- Separation: Filtration with drain of the permeate
- Back flushing: removing of the deposit solids
- Disinfecting: Protection from possible organic/fouling
Advantages
- Non polluting process
- Cost saving through recycling or minimising of the disposal costs
- Completely preassembled and function tested
- Clear order of the service and control elements
- Compact design
- Almost all plants are expandable with additional modules without
a changing of peripheral equipment
- Modern control concept at central PLC unit
