Batch Treatment
Application
Batch Treatment

Before initiation into the canalisation, the waste water must be cleaned according to the standards that conform with the public sewer acceptance limits.

Batch plants are used for small waste water lots in the case of any pollutant concentration.

The following treatment processes can be carried out:

  • Treatment of rinse water, regenerate and concentrate
  • Chromate detoxification, nitrite detoxification, cyanide detoxification
  • Treatment of solved complexes
  • Neutralization
  • Sludge separation
Process Characteristics
Advanced rinsing methods and efficient water management will produce less overall effluent and yield single streams which can be better identified and are more easily treated.

The industrial effluent is detoxicated and neutralized in a batch plant. The arrearages in the form of sludge particles (e.g. heavy metal hydroxide fines) will drain in a filter press.

The respective process step is dependent of that respective waste water contents and accordingly, is determined.

As far as gases noxious here occur, these can be sucked off and rinsed reliably with the gas washer "RECOJET".

Description of plant
In batch plants, the waste water is handled step-by-step in several chemical process steps switched in sequence considering necessary reaction times.

In this case, the waste water of a storage tank by means of pumping station is pumped into the batch reactor. After decontamination, the hydroxide precipitation can be used or while presence of complex compounds the sulphide precipitation. The sedimentation of the pending flakes can also in the batch reactor or sludge storage tank post-connected as required at a separate one may occur.

Drained is normally with a chamber filter press to a depositable dry sludge. In special cases, a membrane filter press can also be inserted.
In terms of a defined setting time, the clarified water is derived from the batch reactor. As post-cleaning becomes a sandfilter and if required, a selective ion exchanger inserted, before pH endcontrol becomes drained into the sewer over that.
Advantages
  • Processing of small ones and / or step-by-step pending waste water lots with high pollutant concentration
  • Realization of complicated reaction processes
  • High reliability
  • Before it enters is analytically over-testable the cleaned waste water to perfect state
  • Compact construction
  • Standard dimensions
  • Corrosion-resistant construction
  • Low invest cost
